Phyllis Colvin
May 16, 1934 — March 11, 2022
Phyllis Mae was born in Brainerd Hospital, May 16th, 1934, to James and Hazel Converse of Motley, MN.
She enjoyed bowling and crocheting. All her grandchildren and great-grand children received a blanket she crocheted.
She is survived by 4 children, Kenneth Mathewson (Lynn) New York Mills, MN; Janine Corey (Darrel) Dakota, MN; Scott Mathewson (Sally) Motley, MN; and Paul Mathewson Carthage, North Carolina. Also 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are 3 stepchildren Debra (Rick) Wilhelm Richland Hills, Texas; Mona (Bill) Moyer Vancouver, Washington; and Hugh Colvin (Karen) Glendale, California. Along with 5 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 1 daughter, Mary Mathewson, her parents, James and Hazel Converse; her grandparents, and 4 husbands, Ralph Mathewson, Frank Stefanoc, Dale Dorsch and the love of her life, Bill Colvin.
Memorial service will be held at a later date. She will be buried in the Motley Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Staples.
