Phyllis Clabots

Phyllis M. Clabots, 88, of East Gull Lake, died at her home Monday, December 29, 2008. Services for Phyllis will be 2 PM, Thursday, January 1, 2009 at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter. Friends are welcome to gather one hour prior to services. Interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
Phyllis was born July 30, 1920, in Minneapolis, MN, the daughter of Dr. WJ and Myrtle (Shaw) Lund. She was a graduate of Staples High School and Minneapolis School of Business. She was united in marriage to John S. Clabots on February 14, 1942 and was a devoted mother to her three children.

Phyllis will be missed by her daughters, Sharon (Edward) Silker, of Lake Shore, MN and Barbara (Rudy) Bjorklund, of Brainerd, MN; her son, J. Steven (Dianne) Clabots, of Chaska, MN; four grandchildren, Eric Peterson, Adam Clabots, Erin Hlavac, and John Clabots; three great-grandchildren; her beloved sister, Gloria Lund; and special friends and caregivers, Sandy Walker and Jeanne Nimeth. She was preceded in death by her brother, Jack Lund; her parents; and grandson, Gregory Peterson.
