Peter J. Tigue

Peter Joseph Tigue, 74, passed away on May 23, 2026 at Good Samaritan, Woodland, in Brainerd, MN.

Peter is survived by his sisters Anne (Jim) Kostreba, Mary (John) Tigue-Velardi, nieces Katie Landwehr, Sarah Falvo, nephew Ryan Landwehr, two great nieces and two great nephews.

Peter spent his working years in the accounting field, serving companies in the Twin Cities and Sioux Falls, SD, with dedication and dependability. He was known for his quiet nature, steady presence, and simple pleasures in life – especially his Diet Coke, which brought him daily enjoyment and one of the many little things family and friends fondly remember about him.

Many thanks to the great staff at Edgewood Vista, Brainerd, MN for the wonderful care he got for many years and also the Good Samaritan, Woodland, Brainerd, and their Hospice program for their kindness and compassion in the final moments of his life.

A private family graveside service will be held.
