Peter Newton, Sr., age 62, of Jenkins, passed away Monday, June 3, 2013, at Cuyuna Regional Medical Center, Crosby. He was born to Clair and Edna Newton on June 20, 1950, in Jenkins.
Pete is survived by his wife, Annette; sons: Pete Newton, Jr. (Laura), Adrian Newton (Brook); brothers: Norbert Newton (Delores), Clair Newton; sister, Linda Headlee (Wayne); nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Arthur, Alvin, Roy, Robert; and sisters, Barb Dickey and Viola Werlinger.
Services will be 11 AM on Saturday, June 8, at First Lutheran Church, Pine River, with Pastor Bonnie Lomen officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
