Peter Fedor

Peter Fedor, 97 years young, of Champlin, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 28, 2022.  Funeral service will take place at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, Minnesota. 

Peter was born on February 10, 1925 in Holdingford, Minnesota to George Jr. and Anna (Smarsek) Fedor.  He was inducted into the US Naval Service and Coast Guard on August 8, 1943 and he served our country until July 7, 1952.  Peter married the love of his life, Evangeline Paulson, on July 8, 1950 in Rush Point, Minnesota and together they had 4 children. Peter was a kind hearted and generous man who was always positive about life and others. He was loved by all and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.  We are blessed to know that he is now with the Lord and free from pain.

Peter is survived by his wife of 72 years Evangeline “Vangie”; children Steve (Diane) Fedor of Aitkin, MN; Suzanne Skare (Tim) of Breezy Point, MN; Mary Bartz (Doug) of Montrose, CO; and David (Mary) Fedor of Breezy Point, MN; 6 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. 

He was proceeded in death by his parents; siblings Mary (Joe) Douvier; Annie (John) Becker, John (Clara) Fedor, Andrew (Dorie) Fedor, Joe (Fran) Fedor, Mike Fedor and George Fedor.

Arrangements are entrusted to Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Crosslake.
