Paulette Banks Knutson

Paulette Banks Knutson passed away peacefully on June 24, 2026, at the age of 76.

Born in Crosby, MN on July 20, 1949, to David and Magnolia Banks (nee Collins). Paulette attended Pequot Lakes High School. On November 11, 1968, she married Norton Knutson, settled on the family farm, and raised three children. She worked for many years at Camp Lincoln/Lake Hubert, Whispering Pines Nursing Home, and Boyd Lodge.

Paulette is survived by her children, David (Kari Peterson) Knutson of Pequot Lakes, MN, Deanna (Rich) Clemen of Rosemount, MN, and Darlene (Niels Neve) Knutson of Rochester, MN; nine grandchildren, Dana (Sean), Daniel, Dawn (Matt), Derek (Storm), Jessa (Mitchell), Megan (Shane), Nathan, Ben, and Isaac; nine great-grandchildren, Luca, Aubrie, Odeyah, Briac, Luxan, Ezaree, Appolonia, Thunder, and Levina Billie Veronica; and many nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in death by her parents, husband, Norton, and thirteen siblings, Hurschel, Woodrow, Josphine, Rosetta, Dora, Ethel, Lenard, Christine, Delores, Marjorie, Kathleen, Donald, and Glen.

Paulette will be remembered for her laugh, Yahtzee skills, and delicious desserts. Paulette enjoyed spending her retired years with her children, grandchildren, and many friends at her apartment complex and will be greatly missed.

A funeral will be held at 2 PM on Monday, June 29, 2026, at Brenny-Kline Family Funeral Chapel in Pequot Lakes, with a visitation the hour prior. Burial will be at the Pequot Lakes Cemetery.
