Nancy Spilman

Nancy Lee Spilman, born October 19, 1955 to Edward and Verna (Chmielewski) Pierzinski in Little Falls, MN, passed away on June 14, 2026 at her home.

Nancy attended school in Pine Center, MN. She was a homemaker who lovingly raised three children. Nancy married Ben Spilman in Las Vegas in 1998 and they lived together in Motley, MN. Nancy enjoyed planting flowers, doing puzzles, and finding treasures at garage sales.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Ben; children, Shawntell (Joe) Norman, Russell Boss, and Robert Collison; brothers, Ron (Dorothy) Pierzinski of Park Rapids, John (Connie) Pierzinski of Merrifield, Richard Pierzinski of Harding, and Gerald (Sherrie) Pierzinski of Brainerd; sisters, Roseann (Marv) Johnson of Brainerd, Maryann (Thomas) Kowalzyck of Pierz, and Laura (Al) Furan of Brainerd; brother-in-law, Raymond Schafers of North Branch; grandchildren, Maverick (Janessa) Norman and Joshua Norman; great-grandchild, Violet Norman; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Verna Pierzinski of Brainerd; sister, Dorothy Schafers; and brothers, Edward and Bernard Pierzinski of Brainerd. 

A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, June 26, 2026, at the Motley Free Methodist Church in Motley, MN. There will be a visitation the hour prior to the service at the church.
