Staples

Nancy Marie Campbell, age 81, of Staples, Minnesota, passed away peacefully at the Harmony House in Motley on July 11, 2025. Born on January 8, 1944, in Staples, Minnesota, to Elmer and Marie (Bostrom) Goble.

Nancy was a long-time resident of Staples from being born there to moving back in 1977 and living there throughout the remainder of her life, she was well known in the community. From 1978 to 2012, Nancy and her husband loved traveling with Amish families across the country — a role that allowed her to see much of the United States and meet people from all walks of life. It was a unique chapter that spoke to her adventurous spirit.

At home, Nancy found joy in simple pleasures: sewing, crafting, solving word searches, playing Tri-Ominos and, most of all, spending time with her loved ones. She especially enjoyed family reunions, where she could reconnect and celebrate with generations of relatives.

She is survived by her children: Lucella “Lucy” (Jerry) Kohuts, Timothy “Tim” Campbell, Roselene (Leon) Dahlvang, Hazel Campbell, and Wayne Campbell; her grandchildren: Jennifer, Timothy Jr., Cheyanne, Samantha, Austin (Teresa), Zachary, Maverick, and Wyatt; and great-grandchildren: Dean and Lydia. Nancy is also survived by her sister, Arlene Goble, sister-in-law Carol (Eugene) Goble and many nieces and nephews.

Nancy’s legacy lives on through the lives she touched, the love she gave, and the memories shared by all who knew her. Nancy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Malcolm Campbell, with whom she shared many cherished years, her parents Elmer and Marie Goble, and her brother Eugene Goble.

Arrangements have been entrusted with Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Staples.
