Nadine Arlene Bittner, 78, of Verndale, passed away on June 25, 2026, in her home.
Born on October 24, 1947, Nadine was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose greatest joy in life was her family. She graduated from Motley High School in 1965. Shortly after, on November 5, 1969, she married the love of her life, Norman Bittner.
Throughout her life, Nadine worked various jobs, but the thing she treasured most was being with family. She had a special gift for making everyone feel loved and important. Whether she was sharing a unique treasure, surprising someone with a thoughtful gift, or showing off something new and interesting she had discovered, she always found ways to bring smiles to those around her.
Nadine enjoyed spending her days watching rodeos and BattleBots, and she never missed an opportunity to keep in touch with her family. No matter the hour, a phone call from Nadine often meant hearing the latest family news, a funny story, or simply a reminder that she was thinking of you.
She is survived by her children, Vern (Marie) Bittner, Donnie (Resa) Bittner, Clint (Patty) Bittner, and Jim Snider; her siblings, Joyce Rollins, Bessy Mueller, Jim Rollins, and Yvonne Joy; and her beloved grandchildren, Patrick (Ashley) Bittner and family, Christopher Bittner (Rosalee Bowstring) and family, Dalton Beach Bittner (Carly Drake) and family, Dylan Beach Bittner (Alyssa McQuiston) and family, Skylar Bittner (Conner Kasper) and family, Libby Bittner, Dusty Bittner, Jordan Bittner, Eddie Stout, and Sarah Stout. She also leaves behind many great-grandchildren, extended family members, and friends who will miss her dearly.
Nadine was preceded in death by her loving husband, Norman Bittner; her daughter, Stacy Snider; her brother, Rich Rollins; her sister, Pat Stokely; and her parents, Richard and Lillian Rollins.
Those who knew Nadine will remember her for her loving heart, generous spirit, and unwavering devotion to her family. Her home, her phone calls, her laughter, and her thoughtful surprises created memories that will be treasured for generations. While her presence will be deeply missed, the love she shared and the legacy she leaves behind will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Forever loved, forever remembered, and forever missed. ❤️ "A grandmother's love is a gift that remains in our hearts forever."
