Mitchell Peterson

Mitchell Scott Peterson, 35, passed away on January 11, 2022 at his home. Celebration of Life will take place from 1-2 pm on Tuesday, January 18, 2021 at the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel in Staples, MN, with a time of sharing at 2pm.

Mitchell was born on April 15, 1986, in Montevideo, MN to Randy and Cindy (Goldenstein) Peterson. He worked at Clowe Stamping. Mitchell enjoyed spending time with his family and fixing anything he could get his hands on. He also made sheet metal signs, enjoyed camping and fishing, and being a prankster. Mitchell always put others first, and his famous words were “Let’s do something awesome”. Mitchell will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is survived children Erica, and Marshall Peterson; Mom Cindy (Brad) Dukowitz; siblings Sara (Patchrick) Szathnary, Alisha Oritz;; nieces and nephews Jazmine, Esmeralda, Roman, and Aliyah; significant other Amy Dobson, and her children Ashley (Brandon), Eli, Ethan, and Emily.

Mitchell was preceded in death by his father Randy, and niece Khloe Kay.
