Merle Groenwold

Merle Groenwold, 84, passed away on Wednesday evening, June 1, 2011 at Good Samaritan Home - Oakwood, in Brainerd, MN and is now in his heavenly home with his wife, Vivian of 59 years.

Merle is survived by his three children, Joan (Jim) Johnson, of Brainerd, Jerry (Peg) Groenwold, of Baxter, and Judy (Kevin) Stoltz, of Richmond, OR; nine grandchildren, Jeffrey (Angela) Johnson, of Boise, ID, Joshua (Jessica) Johnson, of Baxter, Jeremy (Kari) Johnson, of Brainerd, Heidi Hansen, of Champlin, John (Amanda) Groenwold, of Baxter, Chris (Becca) Groenwold, of Baxter, Jeremy, Daniel, and Philip Stoltz, of Richmond, OR; and eight great-grandchildren.

The family will have a private memorial celebration of our father's life and a memorial service will be held late summer at Merle's home church, Grace Bible Church in Sun City, AZ. Interment will be at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix, AZ.
