Maureen Holmberg

Maureen Ann Holmberg was born in Minneapolis, MN, on July 4, 1990. Maureen died unexpectedly in Aurora, CO, from complications of asthma on May 21, 2018. She attended school in Grand Marais, MN, and UMD.

Maureen was preceded in death by her brother, Dominic; grandparents, Carol and Howard Holmberg; and her aunt, Lydia. She is survived by her parents, Victoria Zell and Jeff Holmberg; grandparents, Stuart and Carol Zell; uncles, Kevin and Joseph Zell; aunts, Shirlee Anderson and Kris Zell; cousins: Mary, Jacob and Jonathan Zell, Jesse Johnson; her pet dog, Loki; the love of her life, Carl Haugen; and other family and friends.

Our redheaded 4th of July firecracker will be greatly missed.
