Matthew Taylor

Matthew R. Taylor, 53, of Pillager, MN passed away surrounded by family and friends at the family farm where he loved to be on September 29, 2024. A Celebration of Matthew’s Life will be held at a later date. 

Matt was born on February 2, 1971, to Gordon and Merideth Taylor in Chico, California. He worked for Manion’s Lumberyard in Pillager for 5 years. 

He loved the outdoors and nature, camping with friends and family, going for midnight walks with his dogs, and being around family. He has shared his life with his fiancé, Christine Coash, for 10 years. Matt loved to spoil his 3 dogs and 2 cats. 

Grateful for sharing Matt’s life are his fiancé; Chris Coash, his mother; Meri Taylor, brother; Mike (Rue) Taylor, and Chris’ children; Joe Lewis and Sean Lewis, and grandson; Ben Lewis. 

Matt is preceded in death by his father, Gordon Taylor, and brother, Mark Taylor. 

Arrangements are entrusted to Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Baxter.
