Mary Munger

Mary Catherine Munger, 91 of Motley, formerly of Maple Grove, passed away on Monday, December 12, 2016, at Lakewood Health System Hospital, Staples. She was born on January 26, 1925 in Glasgow, Scotland. Mary's family immigrated to the U.S. when she was five and entered at Ellis Island, NY. She was an avid reader, strong in her faith, a wonderful mother and kept a good house. Her grandchildren were paramount in her life, they were her pride and joy, she truly adored them all. Mary's interest in life included roller skating, when she was younger and bowling.
Mary is survived by her children: Steven Munger, Bonnie (Harv) Graczyk, Marianne (Steve) Gerving, Lisa (Tom) Loneman; grandchildren, Aimee, Shane, Blake, Heather, Hollie, DeEsta, Aletta, Joe, Dustin, Jim, Josh, Michael, Jaqueline, Danielle, Luke and Steven; many great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Everett; son, James; daughter, Sheila; and granddaughter, Angelita; and her siblings.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 AM on Friday, December 16, at St. Michael Catholic Church, Motley. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be 3 PM Friday, at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Corcoran, MN. Arrangements are with Kline Funeral Home, Pine River.
