Mark Harkess

Mark Lee Harkess, 64, of Motley, Minnesota, passed away in Duluth on May 10, 2026.

Mark was born in Minneapolis on December 3, 1961, to Donald and Doris Harkess. He married Robin Neumann on August 28, 1993, in Carver County. Mark worked at Medtronic in Waconia, Minnesota, where he dedicated many years of hard work and friendship with coworkers.

He enjoyed working on his old cars, spending time with his wife and dogs, and loved his new river home. Mark enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and will be remembered for his kind heart, sense of humor, and the love he shared with those around him.

Mark is survived by his loving wife of almost 33 years, Robin Harkess, his loving companion, George, brother in-law, Al Neumann (Janet) and brother in-law, Eric Neumann (Tara), and sister in-law, Connie Neumann, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Donald and sister, Jean Harkess.

A memorial service will be held at Iten Funeral Home in Delano, MN on May 30, 2026 from 1:00pm – 3:00pm.
