Marion Jones

Marion Jones, age 84, of Brainerd, passed away Sunday, July 31, 2011 at her home. She was born to Joseph and Pearl Schuffelen in Oak Lawn Township, Crow Wing County, MN, on March 27, 1927. Marion married George Jones in 1964. She was a member of the Brainerd VFW and American Legion Auxiliaries. She was also a member of the Widowed Friends in Brainerd. Marion formerly worked at the Backus Senior Citizens Center and the Holiday Inn in Brainerd.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George; infant daughter, Joann; and sisters, Jeannette, Josephine and Stella.

Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers and may be sent to Widowed Friends in Brainerd or donor's choice.

Services will be 11 AM on Thursday, August 4, at Kline Funeral Home, Pine River. Burial will follow in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Pine River. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
