Maria A Marshall

The family of Maria Marshall would like to announce on November 9, 2023, that she ended her courageous battle with Mr.-C and in her eyes and the eyes of her family – SHE WON!

Maria was born on November 10, 1948, in Minneapolis, MN to Peter and Helen Lamont. Maria graduated from Edina HS in 1966 where she met Gary, who became her lifelong husband and teammate of 53 amazing years. In 1971 Maria brought, with great joy, her twin sons – Tony and Chris into this world. She poured her heart and unconditional love into her boys. Maria found peace and happiness in gardening, music and dancing, nature, reading, jigsaw puzzles, caring for animals and investing loving energy into her many personal relationships.

Maria is survived by her best friend and husband, Gary, her son Chris, son Tony (Lianne), grandchildren Abby, Zach and Emma, brother Jim (Sandy), sister Jeanne (Jake), sister Kathie (Gary) and her many cousins, nieces and nephews that meant “the world to her”.

A celebration of her beautiful life will be Sunday November 19, 2023, at Lakewood Church (6284 Fairview Rd N, Baxter, MN). Visitation 1:00pm -3:00pm, Memorial Service 3:00pm – 4:00pm, Fellowship gathering afterward.

The family would like to honor Maria’s love of animals by directing, at her request, any monetary donations in her name to The Babinski Foundation, 2825 76^th Street SW, Pequot Lakes, MN 56472.

Arrangements are entrusted to Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Baxter.
