Margaret Coleman

Margaret Evelyn Coleman, age 91, of Pequot Lakes, passed away Thursday, August 17, at Heritage House, Pequot Lakes. She was born to John and Esther Brynestad on December 17, 1925, in Albert Lea, MN. Margaret married Robert L. Coleman on May 10, 1947, in Minneapolis. She lived in Minneapolis until after Robert's death, moving to Pequot Lakes in 1980.

Margaret was a former member of Bethel Lutheran Church in Minneapolis and Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Pequot Lakes. She loved plants and flowers and enjoyed her dogs and cats and playing cards at the Cole Memorial Building in Pequot Lakes. She also enjoyed getting together with her friends to celebrate birthdays and special occasions.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert; son, Michael; sister, Marian Ruoho; and mother-in-law, Marie Tolbers. She is survived by her son, Brad Coleman (Rochelle); daughter, Michele Zeidler (Scott); grandchildren: David and Matthew Coleman, Sierra, Shae and Sawyer Zeidler; nephews, Greg Smith (Lynne), John Ruoho (Jenny); and four great nephews.

Services will be 11 AM on Friday, August 25, at Kline Funeral Home, Pequot Lakes. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Pleasant View Memorial Gardens, Burnsville, MN.
