Madilyn McMonigal, age 14, of Breezy Point, passed away at her home on Saturday, June 28, 2014. She was born to Nick and Tia McMonigal on October 17, 1999, in St. Paul. Madilyn loved hockey and earned a varsity letter in eighth grade. She loved to play music-the louder the better- and also loved to make people laugh.
Madilyn is survived by her parents, Nick and Tia; brother, Maverick; grandparents: Tom and Linda McMonigal, Doug Daily, Jackie Daily and Kevin Conlin; uncles: Jeff McMonigal (Michelle), Jason McMonigal, Nate Conlin; aunt, Ashley Conlin; several cousins; and boyfriend, Stone Stewart.
She was preceded in death by her great aunt, Kristie Schouveller.
Memorials preferred in lieu of flowers.
Services will be 3 PM on Wednesday, July 2, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Pequot Lakes, with visitation beginning at noon. Burial will be in Pelican Woods Cemetery, Breezy Point.
