Lynn Boyd

Lynn LennyBoyd, 66, passed away peacefully Tuesday, January 6, 2009, at St. Josephs Medical Center, in Brainerd, MN. Memorial services will he held at a later date. Interment will be at Southern Nevada Veterans Cemetery.
Lenny was born on December 26, 1942, son of Gene and Evelyn (Hoon ) Boyd, in Chicago, Illinois. He grew up and attended high school in the Chicago area. He served in the Navy. He has lived in Brainerd for the past forty years. He was a truck driver with North Star Trucking Company.

He is survived by his ex-wife, Myrna Boyd of Brainerd, MN: daughters Katherine (Nelson) Belez and Mary (Sal) Morales of Chicago, Ill; son Robert (Rosita) Boyd of Franklin Park, Ill; step-daughters Denise Bakkila and Gerri Flood of Brainerd, MN; sisters Renee (Michael) Maze of Las Vegas, NV and Beverly Johnson of Bensonville, Ill; eight grandchildren and five step-grandchildren. Lenny is preceded in death by his parents, brother August Graf, and brother-in-law Ralph Johnson.
