Lorraine Swenson

Lorraine Swenson, age 90, of Pequot Lakes, passed away Saturday, December 15, 2012, at Diamond Willow Assisted Living in Brainerd. She was born to Ole and Inga Risnes on February 8, 1922, in Pequot Lakes. She was a member of the Pequot Lakes Baptist Church.

Lorraine is survived by her children: Jerry Swenson (Sharon), David Swenson, Mary Ann Toone (Bill), Chuck Swenson (Nancy), Linda Halsey; daughter-in-law, Linda Swenson; 26 grandchildren; many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Art; son, Dennis Swenson; brothers, Clarence Risnes and Leonard Risnes; and sister, Iona Ylinen.

Services will be 1 PM on Thursday, December 20, at the Pequot Lakes Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Pequot Lakes City Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4 to 7 PM at Kline Funeral Home, Pequot Lakes, and one hour prior to the service at the church.
