Lonnie Lewerke

Lonnie Lewerke, age 59, of Brainerd, passed away Saturday, March 29, 2008, at University of Minnesota Hospital after a short battle with lung cancer. She was born December 30, 1948, in Minneapolis, to Hans and Merle Hanson.
She is survived by her husband, Daniel; children: Lisa Smith of Isanti, Laura Stratton (Dennis) of Pine River, Jennifer Bentz of Pine River; brothers: David Hanson, Daniel Hanson, Steven Hanson, all of Minneapolis; two grandchildren: Andrew Ellingson and Derrick Smith.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Paul Hanson; and son-in-law, Robert Smith.
Services will be 1 PM on Wednesday, April 2 at Kline Funeral Home, Pine River. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
