Lois Hermanson

Lois Christine (Putman) Hermanson, age 87, of Pine River, passed away Sunday, May 29, 2011. She was born April 1, 1924, in Pierre, SD, to Carl and Selma Putman. She graduated from Rapid City High School in 1942. Lois married Uno Hermanson on September 17, 1942 in Los Angeles, CA. After World War II, Uno and Lois moved Deadwood, SD, where their son, Alan, was born. In 1952 they relocated to the San Diego, CA area. After Uno's death in 2000, Lois moved to the Pine River area.

Lois is survived by her sister, Eleanor Laposky (Russ), and brother, Edward Putman (Pat).

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Uno, and son, Alan.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
