Lloyd M. Johnson Jr.

Lloyd Johnson Jr, of Brainerd, MN passed away peacefully on March 27, 2024, in Brainerd. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, from 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm at the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel in Baxter. 

Lloyd was born on September 2, 1959, to Lloyd Marcel Sr. and Elizabeth Louise (Whitney) Johnson in Tokyo, Japan. Lloyd graduated from High School and his dream was to become a radio announcer. Lloyd even had the setup at his home and practiced for hours. He had just started his apprenticeship at the local radio station before he got sick. Lloyd lived the last 20-plus years of his life at Hillcrest Group Home in Brainerd. Lloyd also had a love of his Opal car, and of course, his favorite hat; he never left the house without his beloved hat, billfold, sunglasses, and coin purse. His memory will live on with all who knew and loved him. His family cannot wait to be greeted in Heaven by Jesus and Lloyd with his glorious body, mind, and spirit. 

He is survived by his siblings Cindy Johnson, Tammie Johnson (Gary), Sherri (Robert) Hartman, and Robin (Al) Pfanz; and many nieces and nephews. Lloyd is preceded in death by his parents Lloyd and Elizabeth Johnson. 

The family would like to say a special thank you to Hillcrest Group Home, for their love and devotion to our brother will never be forgotten. They were his angels on earth.  Also, a special thank you to Knute Nelson Hospice for their care.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Baxter.
