Lillian F. Smith

Lillian F. Smith, 89, of Motley, MN passed away on Tuesday February 14, 2023 at Lakewood Care Center in Staples.

Lillian was born on April 5, 1933 in Staples, MN to Theodore and Violet (Killian) Dukowitz. She married Melvin Smith on August 26, 1950 in Staples.

She enjoyed fishing on a peaceful day on the lake, and had a green thumb when it came to gardening.

Lillian is survived by her sons LeRoy (Cyndee) Smith and Rodney Smith, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren, her siblings Eleanor Auel, Annette Vesaland, Michael Dukowitz and Kenneth Dukowitz.

She is preceded in death by her husband Melvin, her parents, son Daniel, granddaughter Nikki Smith, and her siblings Richard Dukowitz, Ronald Dukowitz, Lawrence Dukowitz, Bernard Dukowitz, Donna Etzler, and LaVern Kutzler.

Arrangements are entrusted to Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Staples.
