LeRoy Tepley

LeRoy L. (Roy) Tepley, age 79, of Staples, passed away Tuesday evening, November 23rd at the Lakewood Health System Hospital in Staples. A Private Service will be held by the family.

LeRoy worked on a farm in his early years. He also served in the Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked as a machinist in Minneapolis after serving in the army. He returned to the area and worked at an implement dealership and later as a pig farmer. LeRoy enjoyed hunting and fishing (especially deer hunting).

Leroy was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters and 1 brother.

Leroy is survived by his wife of 21 years Betty; stepchildren, Terry Tepley, Patsy (Thomas) Roberts, Mary L. Sterling and Jess (Sarah) Tepley; 5 step-grandsons;
1 step-grand daughter; 9 step-great grandchildren; brother, Larry (Nancy); sisters, Florence (Donald) Carry and Donna (Ronald) Koberstein; and many nieces and nephews.
