Laureen Miller

Laureen Enola (Tepfer) Miller, born August 31, 1960, in Brainerd, MN, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2026, in her sister's arms.

Laureen married her soul mate and the love of her life, Aloysius Miller, on May 18, 1985, in Little Falls, MN. Laureen and Al spent many summer weekends at the family lake cabin fishing, camping, and enjoying outdoor life. They both had a love of history and travel, and spent many vacations visiting national and state historical sites across the US. Laureen enjoyed cooking, gardening, feeding and watching birds, and reading.

Laureen is survived by her mother, Arlene Tepfer; sister, Cynthia Volk; brother, Kevin Tepfer; aunt and godmother, Joyce Jewell; step-children, Cecilia Kessler, Joe and Michelle Miller; nephews, Jeremy and Justin Volk; and many grandchildren and extended family. She was proceeded in death by her father, Donald Tepfer; husband, Al Miller; twin sister, LeAnne Sandberg; step-son, Alan Miller; uncle, Albert Jewell; and cousin, Lee Stoltz.

A committal service will be held at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in n Little Falls, July 16, 2026 at 3pm, with Pastor Frank Milo officiating.
