Larry Krause

Larry G. Krause, age 68, of Staples, passed away at the Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, ND, on Monday, October 4. A funeral service is planned for Saturday, October 9, at 2:00 PM, at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Staples, with a visitation one hour prior to the service.

Larry was born on May 30, 1942, in Rockford, IL, to Gordon and Eunice Krause. Larry traveled as a young man, working all across the country doing custom combine work. In 1966, he married Jean Lucht, and they had a son. In 1999, they moved to Sylvan Shores, and Larry retired in 2001. He enjoyed fishing, elk hunting, tractor work, and yard work.

Larry is Survived by his wife, Jean; son Brian (Rashida) Krause; granddaughter, Samantha Krause; grandsons, Brian and Alex Williams, and their mother, Nicki Witt; sister-in-law, JoAnn Goetze; many nieces, nephews and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Brenny Funeral Home in Staples.
