Laney Rose Danielson, 13, passed away Sunday, September 4th, 2022, as a result of a tragic boating accident. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 17th, at 2:00 p.m. at Pillager Public School. Laney was born to Chadd and Deanna Danielson on January 9th, 2009, in Staples Minnesota. She was a member of the 2027 class from Pillager School and was looking forward to seeing all her classmates again as she entered the eighth grade this year. She cherished many outdoor hobbies including kayaking, swimming, fishing, surfing, and hunting. Additionally, she participated in a variety of activities through Pillager, including Knowledge Bowl, volleyball, softball, band, musicals, a mentorship program, and many others. Laney was a vibrant young woman who had a wonderful influence on everyone around her. She was a kind person who enjoyed lending a helping hand. Her life had a profound impact on many people, and she always encouraged those around her to appreciate life and the simple things. Laney had an infectious smile and gave the biggest hugs for such a small person. She is survived by her grandfather Marvin Elsaas, grandmother Carol Danielson, parents Chadd and Deanna, two older sisters Tessa and Bridget, and many uncles, aunts, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandfather Keith Danielson and grandmother Linda Elsaas. Her passing will leave a large hole in her family, community, and the world. She’ll be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Baxter.
