Kirt Schmidt

Kirt Howard Schmidt, age 46, of Claremont, MN, passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2014, as a result of a car accident. He was born on July 23, 1967, in Shakopee, MN.

Kirt is survived by his parents, Kenneth and Shirley Schmidt; siblings: Theresa McDonough, Ginny Klasen, Jeff Schmidt, Greg Schmidt, Richard Anderson; children: Scotty Nordstrom, Alicia Schmidt, Amber Schmidt, Branden Furness; several grandchildren; and numerous aunt, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his birth mother, Mavis Crimmins.

Memorial services will be 2 PM on Friday, June 6, at Riverview Church, Pine River, with Pastor Tristan Borland officiating, followed by a luncheon. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
