Kevin Carlson

Kevin B. Carlson was born July 26, 1956, to Sheldon and Janemarie (Nelson) Carlson at Swedish Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Kevin grew up in Hopkins, Minnesota, and he joined the United States Army on February 5,1974, where he worked as a construction machine operator. After the Army, Kevin studied culinary arts at Staples College. Kevin married Kelly Balk February 25, 1995, and together they had 1 child, Tiffany Jane. Kevin held various positions including manufacturing and he also worked as a chef. Kevin's real passion was picking. He loved antiques, he enjoyed reading books and researching antiques; he loved to shop for them and he could often be found at junk stores searching for his next treasure. Kevin became a self taught professional on all things old.

Kevin is preceded in death by both of his parents; and 1 sister, Elvira.

Grateful for having shared his life are his daughter, Tiffany Coughlin (Coleman), Pine River MN; his grandchildren, Everest, October, and Sahara; 1 brother Ross, Backus MN; 3 sisters, Elvira (deceased), Gloria, Pillager MN, Sarah, Brainerd MN, and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
