Katherine Freeman

After a long and full life, Katherine Janet Reierson Freeman passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2014, surrounded by family, including Joe, her husband and loving companion of 72 years. Katherine was born October 9, 1921, to Dora (McBride) and Ray Reierson and was raised with her sister, Margaret, and brother, Bob, in Fosston and Warren. She and Joe raised five children, Roberta Freeman, John (Patricia) Freeman, Peggy (Loren) Sanders, Jane (Jeff) Freeman and Jim (Nancy) Freemanin Roseau and Little Falls. They were blessed with ten grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren and enjoyed their retirement in the Brainerd Lakes area. Katherine's loving spirit and strength will be missed. There will be a memorial service August 16, 2014, at Good Samaritan Society-Bethany, 804 Wright Street, Brainerd 56401. Visitation will be at 1:00 and the memorial service at 2:00. Casual dress suggested. A memorial fund has been set up in Katherine's honor at Good Samaritan Society-Bethany Garden Fund. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter, MN.
