June Merritt

June May Merritt, age 59, of Backus, passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2012. She was born in Minneapolis on June 24, 1952.

June is survived by her husband, Clint; sons: Mark (Jaclyn), Wesley (Angela); grandchildren: Summer, Joseph, Daniel, Amariena, Bryon; siblings: Barb Price (Bruce), Dale Thurston (Marlene), Lois Thorson (Jerry), Betty Krueger, Sandy Livingston (Terry), Cindy Garza (Albert), Cheryl Rindahl (Randy), Rick Williams (Sissy), Roger Williams (Barb); uncle, Roger; cousins, Teresa, Marlys, Tammy, Sheila; many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Loretta Williams and father, Orville Thurston.

Services will be 2 PM on Saturday, January 7, at Kline Funeral Home, Pine River, with Pastor Tim Walker officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
