Judith Mae Pitschka, 85, of Richmond, passed away peacefully on November 4, 2025, with her daughter by her side.
Judith was born on August 4, 1940, in Princeton, Minnesota, to Harlow and Edith (Olson) Cunningham. She spent over 27 years working at A-Pine, a place where she formed many lasting friendships and was known for her dedication and warm spirit. Judith enjoyed life to the fullest. She loved deer hunting, fishing, bowling, cheering on the Minnesota Vikings, baking for family and friends, and even skydiving — a testament to her bold and fearless nature.
She is survived by her daughter, Debbie (Chuck) Merten; her sister, Jane of Mesa, Arizona; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Judith was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ernie (2000); and her daughters, Jill and Lori (2000).Judith’s family and friends will forever cherish her adventurous spirit, her loving heart, and the countless memories she leaves behind.
