John Witt

John Michael Witt, age 43, of Pine River, passed away on Friday, March 27, 2015. He was born to Thomas and Barbara Witt on February 2, 1972, in Brainerd. John loved flying and worked as an aircraft mechanic at the Pine River Regional Airport. He also worked at Bertha Boatworks as a boat mechanic. John served in the U.S. Air Force and was stationed in England, Idaho and Alaska.

John is survived by his mother, Barbara Witt; son, Cole; daughter, Emilie; stepchildren: Shayna, Ceyara and William; sister, Rhonda Anderson; grandmother, Doris Glover; and nephews, Troy and Steven Anderson.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas.

Services will be 2 PM on Thursday, April 2, at Kline Funeral Home, Pine River. Burial will follow at Pine Ridge Cemetery, Pine River. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4 to 7 PM at Kline Funeral Home, Pine River.
