John Swertel
March 20, 1939 — March 4, 2018
John "Jack" Swertel, age 83, of Pequot Lakes, passed away Sunday, March 4, 2018, at his home. He was born to Edgar and Hazel Swertel on March 20, 1934, in Chicago, IL.
Jack will be missed by his wife of 63 wedded years, Marge; son, Jim (Nancy) Swertel; daughter, Peggy (Kent) Vahlsing; sister, June Foran; grandchildren: Derick, Jimmy and Jacob Swertel, Jake, Kassie and Lindsey Ward; great grandchildren: Chloe, Grayson and Oliver Swertel; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his eldest son, John Swertel, Jr.
No services will be held.
