John Rasmussen

John Rasmussen, age 70, of Brainerd MN, passed away unexpectedly at home on December 10 2022.

A celebration of life will be held on January 27th from 1 to 3 pm at the Onamia Vets Club.

John was born in Minneapolis MN on January 27th 1952 to Joan and John Rasmussen.

Proceeded in death by his parents John and Joan Rasmussen, and his grandson Brody.

John is survived by his three daughters; Sarah Smith(Rasmussen), Christa Rasmussen, and Erin(Josh) Rasmussen, eight grandchildren; Lee, Lexi, Skylar, Alicianna, Selena, Braxton, Lillianna, and Seraphina, six siblings; Mary, James, Cindy, Ruth, Paul, and Jody.

John was a proud marine (10/2/72-10/1/76) who was very involved with the VFW/LEGION of Onamia. He enjoyed fishing and woodworking.

His heart was filled with love and joy with his girls and watching his grandchildren grow. He will be very missed. We loved you Dad.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Baxter.
