John Palmquist

John Palmquist, 56, of Fort Ripley, died at his home Tuesday, August 13, 2013. Services and a pot luck dinner will be held for Johnny at The Northland Arboretum 14250 Conservation Drive Brainerd, MN (behind Westgate Mall) on Saturday, August 24, 2013 from 1:00-4:00PM. Interment will be at Swan Valley Cemetery in Leader, MN at a later date.

John was born September 14, 1956, in St. Paul, MN, the son of Arthur and Emily (Warner) Palmquist. He worked as an electronic technician. He enjoyed travel and had several hobbies and collections.

John will be missed by his daughter, Casandra Miller, of St. Paul; siblings, Elroy Block, Nancy Patterson, Cheryl Brown, Larry Palmquist, and Beverly Lehrke; grandson, Logan; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Carol Hanson.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter, MN.
