John Hoffman

John W. Hoffman, 61 of Brainerd died Sunday, July 22nd in Austin, MN. Services for John will be held on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Park United Methodist Church in Brainerd, MN with Pastor Brenda King officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church. Lunch to follow the service at the church.

He was born on August 21, 1950 in Austin, MN to Wilfred and Harriet (Small) Hoffman. John was very outgoing; he had many friends and never met a stranger. He loved to laugh and lived life to the fullest. John enjoyed classic cars, motorcycling, and was an avid fisherman and hunter. He also was proud to be a member of the Patriot Guards.

John is survived by his wife, Carolyn; mother, Harriet; sister, Jean (Kerry) Olson; niece Abby; step-children, and step-grandchildren.
John was preceded in death by his father.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter.
