John Carlson

John Carlson, age 74, of Crosslake, passed away on Friday, October 21, 2022, at Essentia St. Joseph’s Medical Center, Brainerd. He was born to Richard and Anna Carlson on March 27, 1948, in Willmar.

John was a masonry contractor in the Brainerd Lakes area for many years and was a member of Crosslake Lutheran Church. He loved to sing and was known for his beautiful singing voice. John sang for many funerals over the years.

John is survived by his wife, Judee; children, Tracy Hanson (Dan), Nancy Carlson (Gloria), Carrie Carlson; sister, Diane Mada (Ed); and 2 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Services will be 11 AM on Saturday, October 29, at Crosslake Lutheran Church. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service
