JoAnn Witt

JoAnn Elizabeth Witt, age 59, of Brainerd, passed away unexpectedly at Carefree Assisted Living on Wednesday, October 4, 2023.

JoAnn was born in Brainerd to Duane and Sharon (Allord) Kohl on August 3, 1964. She married Eugene Witt on August 20, 1982. She enjoyed reading, cross stitching and gardening. Above all else, she loved spending time with her family. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Left to cherish her memory are her father, Duane; daughters, Jenny Witt and Nicole Petroske (Tom); grandchildren, Tommy, Wyatt, and Lynsie; siblings, Brian Kohl, Michelle Gottwalt, Kevin Kohl; and nieces and nephews.

JoAnn is preceded in death by her mother, Sharon; sisters, Wendy Lindberg and Kimberly Kohl; brother, Doug Kohl; nephews, Jordan and August Kohl.

A celebration of life for JoAnn will be held on Sunday, October 22, 2023, from 1pm-4pm at the Barrows Townhall.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Baxter.
