Janett Bundy

Janett Ora Bundy, age 90, formerly of Hackensack, passed away peacefully at her home in Detroit Lakes on July 20, 2023. She was born to Frank and Ora (VanHoever) Radimecky on April 30, 1933, in Browerville, MN. Janett went to nursing school where she earned her LPN and worked at Lind’s Nursing Home in Hackensack and Ah-Gwah-Ching in Walker. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, sewing, going to Bible studies and loved her pets. She was a member of Hope Lutheran Church in Walker, Lighthouse Evangelical Church in Hackensack, Lake Region Mennonite Church in Frazee, MN and the Hackensack American Legion. She will be remembered for her huge heart and patience.  She gave so many people support and never turned anyone away, always putting others before herself.

Janett is survived by her daughters: Norma Davis, Paula Jones and Vicki Drewes; grandsons, Dan Scott and Blake DeVries; great grandchildren: Bailey Scott, Tyler Scott, Owen DeVries and Amara DeVries; sisters: Jessie Guy, Marge Morrow, June Mason and Maxine Radimecky; and brothers, Roger Radimecky and Neil Radimecky. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ralph Bundy; sister, Viola Dalquist; brother, Harry Radimecky; many, many close friends; and her pets, Wolfy and Rockie.

Services will be 11 AM on Saturday, July 29, at Lighthouse Church in Hackensack. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery, Hackensack.
