James Pankratz

James R. Pankratz, age 67, of Bemidji, formerly of Staples, passed away at the Oakland Mercy Hospital in Oakland, NE, on May 10, 2009. A Funeral service is planned for Friday, May 15, at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Staples with Fr. Scott Wittkop officiating. A visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 6-8 at the Brenny Funeral Home in Staples. Burial will be at the Evergreen Hill Cemetery in Staples.

Jim is survived by his wife, Donna; children, Ann Marie Petersen of St. Cloud, Dan (Cheri) of Bemidji, Becky Pankratz of Montrose, Patty (Matt) Mundorf of Lincoln, NE, and Bob (Teresa) of St. Cloud; 10 grandchildren; brother, Richard (Laura) of Staples; sister, Arlene Fraser of St. Cloud; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Rueben and Helen (Bienusa) Pankratz; brother, Clarence; and nephew, Mike.

Memorials are preferred to the American Heart Association. Arrangements are entrusted to the Brenny Funeral Home in Staples.
