Isabel Gearey

Isabel Gearey, age 97, of Pine River, passed away Sunday July 2, 2017, at Good Samaritan Society, Pine River. She was born to Edward and Magdalena Vogtlin on May 18, 1920, in Buckman, MN.

Isabel was the Activities Director at the Good Samaritan Society in Pine River for many years. She enjoyed quilting, feeding and watching the birds, gardening and fishing. Family was very important to Isabel and she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Isabel is survived by her six children: Janice (Randy) Kieffer, Robert (Judy) Gearey, Eileen (David) Fisher, Mike Gearey, Stephen (Barb) Gearey, Paul (Tammy) Gearey; twelve grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert; grandson, Patrick; 8 brothers and sisters.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 AM on Thursday, July 13, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Pine River. Visitation one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will be in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Pine River.
