Staples
Irene M. (Hosner) Kastanek was called to Heaven on July 1st 2026, to be reunited with her beloved husband Bobbie and rejoice with family and friends.
Her favorite pass times were crocheting, gardening and watching the Indy 500! But most of all she loved spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband Bobbie, daughter Shirley, son Marvin, parents Earl and MaryAnn Hosner and brother Archie.
Irene is survived by daughter Debbie, daughter in law Shelly, son in law Pat and sister in law Ramona. Along with cherished grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A special thank you to the Lakewood Care Center staff for such wonderful care of our Mother.
A Gathering of Friends and Family will be held on Saturday July 25, 2026 from 11:00am to 1:00pm at the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel in Staples.
