Hollie Carman

Hollie A. Carman, age 78, of Wadena, passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2011.
A private family service will be held in Texas.

Hollie was born on June 1, 1933 in Watson, Oklahoma to Daffin and Jessie (Holden) Taylor. Hollie worked as a supervisor at a furniture company until her retirement in 1991.
She was a published poet and enjoyed reading and listening to old country music.

Hollie is survived by her three children, Danny Powers and his wife Terry of Leader, Minnesota; Donna (Larry) Cox of Kileen, Texas; Liz Hill of Marshall, Texas; eleven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Margie Cain and Edna Webb.

She was pre-deceased by a daughter, Margie Stewart, three husbands, Earl Powers, Donald Seward, Al Carman; and siblings, Odes Taylor, Myrl, and Virginia.
