Subialka, Helen C., age 63, of Emily, MN, died peacefully December 16, 2021, surrounded by loving family, after a challenging struggle with Alzheimer’s disease. Helen was preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Marjorie Subialka. Helen was born in Minneapolis. After attending North High, she graduated as an exchange student in Old Lyme, Conn., studied at Macalester College and then the University of Minnesota, where she received a degree in fine arts. She was a free spirit who loved exploring nature, gardening, traveling, music, Cajun dancing, creating art in a wide variety of mediums, and spending time with family and friends. She lived in St. Paul for many years and then moved north eight years ago where she lived artfully, experiencing and creating beauty. We will miss her vibrant presence and her curious and playful nature. A celebration of her life is being planned for the spring. Brenny Funeral Chapel (brenny.com) for more information.
