Helen Gavin

Helen M.(Barrows) Gavin, 98, of Brainerd, passed away on May 3, 2024. A private family service will be held at a later date.

Helen worked for the Brainerd School district for many years. She was the secretary and a Sunday school teacher at Park United Methodist Church. Helen loved reading, traveling and doing puzzles. She enjoyed living at Edgewood Vista in Brainerd and was loved by all the staff and residents.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Edgewood Vista and St. Croix Hospice.

Helen is survived by her children, Steve (Lexy) Barrows of Baxter, Greg Barrows of Evergreen, Colorado, Renee Gavin of St. Paul, Terry (Tambrey) Barrows of Brainerd, several Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Baxter.
