Harriette Thompson

Harriette Elaine Thompson, 84, of Brainerd, MN died on Thursday, October 8, 2015 at Good Samaritan Village-Woodland in Brainerd, MN. Services for Harriette will be at 1:30PM on Sunday, October 11, 2015 at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter, MN with visitation from 1:00-3:00PM. Burial held at Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery.

Harriette was born on March 16, 1931 in Brainerd, MN to Harry and Flora (Magnan) Anderson. She married Louis Arnold Thompson on September 2, 1950 at St. Mathias Church. Harriette was a member of the VFW and Gull River Association. She enjoyed quilting, fishing, and gardening. Harriette also liked playing cards and crossword puzzles.

Harriette is survived by her children, Louis (Sue) Thompson and Barbara Fleischhacker; brother, Norman Anderson; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Orville Anderson; husband, Louis Arnold; and grandson, Daniel Fleischhacker. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter, MN.
