Gordon Anderson, 69, died June 22, 2009, at his home in rural Backus, MN. Born April 26, 1940 in Minneapolis.

Preceded in death by wife, Carole (Shaw) Anderson; parents, Arthur and Viola Anderson; sister, Betty; brothers, Arthur, Jr., Jerald, and Jerome.

Survived by sons: Richard (Melody), Jenkins, MN, Rev. Dale (Roxlee), Backus, David (Becki), Lonsdale, MN; daughter, Carol Norman (Chas), Long Beach, CA; sister, Elaine, Bonita Springs, FL; brothers: Richard (Phyllis), Apple Valley, James (Thelma), Minneapolis, Roger (MaryLou), Ramsey, Robert (Barbara), Minneapolis; 14 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Services 11 AM, Friday, June 26, with visitation one hour prior to service at Kline Funeral Home, Pine River, MN (218)587-2067. Interment Swedish Mission Cemetery, Buffalo, MN.
